An example of the Corporate 'Centrists' framing the debate

I don't know about the suggestion of Mellencamp for the senate.
But I do agree with Katrina Van Den Heuvel that what we need is more progressive populists and less corporate hacks. Is this an opportunity for Greens to distinguish themselves from a Democratic party run by the DLC & Corporate interests?
